Sweeney todd skirt

The bloody streets of London from the film adaptation of Sweeney todd was my major inspiration, going through many different iterations of a limited scale palette much like the movie. black white and red have always been a worthwhile selection.

the large mermaid tail was hand-painted in the silhouette of victorian London, then over 200 hand-applied gems were added for texture.
